Air Works Aviation Academy offers practical training as per the following programs for trainees or students,
pursuing DGCA and/or EASA license courses, at select Indian and foreign institutes:
Currently, Air Works Aviation Academy offers or conducts the following programs:
- Practical training (300 hours, DGCA 147 Basic, CAR 66)
In line with training curriculum prescribed by the regulators as per CAR 66, Air
Works Aviation Academy provides trainee technicians and engineering students,
pursuing aviation training with approved colleges offering CAR 147 Basic
certification, with practical maintenance experience of 300 hours.
The mandatory practical experience is offered at our DGCA CAR 145 and EASA Part
145 approved Base maintenance facility, in arrangement with our customers.
Currently, nearly 300 students from various pan-India and Asian colleges are
undergoing various phases of their training at our facility.
- Practical experience (DGCA students; 2 Year program)
- 6-month OJT (DGCA students)
AAA also facilitates practical experience for DGCA and EASA students as well as a
6-month On-the-Job Training (OJT) for trainees who underwent their theoretical
training, prior to the enforcement of CAR 147 Basic.
- Practical experience (EASA students from Indian/
foreign Institutes; 2
& 5 Year Programs) - Initial and Continuation (CBT, Online)
The Academy also has tie-ups with several foreign institutions to facilitate
practical, hands-on training for their students at our maintenance facility.
Getting trained at our maintenance facility, lends a unique opportunity to
students to observe heavy maintenance and other checks being carried out on
aircraft. Students also benefit from the vast repository of online knowledge
made available on the in-house “Learning Management System” at Air Works, in the
form of high quality informative and educational videos as added advantage.
