International Aerospace Conference 2023

Organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the International Aerospace Conference: Towards Inclusive Global Value Chain, is a B20 initiative in the Aerospace Sector. It is being held in the historic city of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on 1-2 September 2023. From $278.43 billion in 2023, the global aerospace industry is expected to grow to $358.44 billion by 2027 (CAGR of over 6.5%). The market consists of aerospace equipment (including complete aircraft), MRO services, and product support and auxiliary equipment, such as radar, air traffic control towers and satellites for civilian purposes.  

The conference endeavours to bring together various stakeholders from the Indian Civil Aviation ecosystem, including operators, MRO providers, regulators, and Financing & Leasing companies in order to elevate the sector to new heights by facilitating discussions and collaborations among these key players. 

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in one of the most comprehensive aftermarket discussions in the world and at the same time, use the platform for networking, sharing knowledge, and exploring opportunities for growth and innovation in the industry.

SESSION DISCUSSION

Air Works Group joins the MRO session on Day 1 at the Conference, titled "Integrated Global MRO Services", in an endeavour to collaborate with global minds, and find ways of leveraging the country's current indigenous MRO systems and craft a roadmap to address Southeast Asian Aerospace & Defense industry, together with the indigenous MRO industry, by building capacity and capability, given that the impending surge in MRO demand is positively correlated with fleet size, which is on an upswing.   

The MRO market comprises engines, airframe and components with engines having the major share. It is the need of the hour to optimally utilize the existing ecosystem and draft a roadmap that will create an integrated Global MRO industry.
