AME - B1/ B2 (Falcon 2000, G150, G200, Hawker, Global Series)

Role and Responsibilities

  • Allocation of work to mechanics and supervision for compliance with defined quality control, airworthiness, and safety procedures to ensure timely job completion.
  • Assess the physical and mental fitness of maintenance staff to undertake allotted work, while ensuring that they are not under the influence of psychoactive substances.
  • Undertake inspections and checks on aircraft as per the approved maintenance program. Assist in the maintenance procedures and Quality system and certification of callouts for issuance.
  • Record, investigate, analyze, and rectify defects observed during maintenance including those reported by the flight crew. Defer non-critical resolutions as per defined procedures under MEL/CDL, prior to release of aircraft for flight.
  • Report defects, accidents, and incidents in prescribed formats.
  • Ensure usage of only genuine/ approved spare parts and materials with proper certificates for/ on the aircraft.
  • Check to ensure that only calibrated tools, duly tested equipment, and current technical publications are referred prior to start of maintenance.
  • Undertake and certify ADs as well as mandatory modifications.
  • Ensure completion and certification of all task cards, worksheets, inspection schedules, maintenance records and logbooks.
  • Certify safety for flight of public transport aircraft in the technical log/flight report as well as certify aircraft for test flight/ ferry flight.
  • Certify flight release in respect of the aircraft, engine systems endorsed in the license, in the respective category.
  • Review and certify logbooks detailing the inspection work carried out as part of scheduled maintenance, minor repairs and modifications approved by the DGCA including replacement of components, parts and inspection thereof in respect of aircraft, engine and systems.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/ Graduate degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Aeronautical engineering.
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a 145 Engineering Department.
  • Candidate must have completed Type training, and their license should have been endorsed for the aircraft type.
  • Prior airline and/or MRO-related experience preferred.
  • Ability to leverage systems and process to accelerate maintenance for greater efficiency, while ensure 100% compliance with maintenance procedures and quality systems.

Skills Required

  • A strong technical background with deep understanding of CAR 145 organization.
  • Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Committed and result-oriented, with attention to detail.
  • Possess sufficient knowledge and understanding of Business Aviation (General Aviation) maintenance planning, forecasting, and packaging.
