Assistant Manager - Corporate Finance
Roles and Responsibilities
You will assist in managing the end-to-end finance operations of the company including preparation of financial statements, financial planning and analysis, treasury, financial controls, etc. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Prepare daily bank status, fund inflow/outflow to update management about the organization’s cash position.
• Perform treasury-related functions such as cash management, cash forecasting, and monitor interest rates.
• Process payments pertaining to loans, and other day-to-day ones.
• Manage forex exposure and payments.
• Monitor and manage banking relationships including KYC submissions, and arranging bank guarantees
• Prepare reports for management and the board and support the month-end closing process, where necessary.
• Ensure adequate fund availability for meeting due repayments and assist business verticals in payments.
• Assist in fund raising including documentation and report etc. as well as debt renewal.
• Assist in preparing reports such as due diligence, stock inspection report, FFR and UFCE.
• Manage funds for various verticals and subsidiary companies as well as bill discounting, and monthly overdraft interest calculation.
• Review and analyze bank fees and maintain account documentation.
• Assist Financial Controller with the preparation of financial statements for several entities.
• Liaison with bank for various banking matter, KYC updation, New Corporate Account opening and closure of account.
• Handle bank reconciliation for different banks, deposits and investments.
• Coordinate with auditors for finalizing financial statements.
• Track Bill of entry for various verticals and ensuring knocking off by the Bank.
• Ensure timely payment of statutory payments.
• Process travel reimbursement, vendor payments and invoice booking
• Work closely with regional heads of finance, human resources, and compliance to review business practices, corporate structures, provide training, and conduct investigations, as necessary.
Qualifications
• CA Intermediate / bachelor’s in commerce (B.Com)
• At least 7-10 years of work experience
Skills Required
• Structured, analytical bent of mind with excellent interpersonal and relationship/ networking skills
• IT savvy and well versed with Accounting ERPs, with dexterity in working with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Ability to handle demanding situations, scenarios, and deadlines.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a pleasing personality.
• Adaptable, persuasive, amiable, self-motivated and result oriented.
• Experience in Indian Accounting System is preferred.
• Prior experience in the MRO/ Aviation sector will be an added advantage
