Assistant Manager/ Manager– Financial Planning and Analysis
Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager – FP&A will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, providing strategic insights and ensuring business alignment. Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and effective communication with cross-functional teams are essential.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting in collaboration with departments. Refine financial models for accuracy and scenario analysis.
Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from projections.
Strategic Support: Provide data-driven insights to support long-term strategies. Analyze financial impact of initiatives, market opportunities, and acquisitions.
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex models for evaluating business scenarios and performing what-if analyses.
Cost & Performance Analysis: Monitor KPIs, improve profitability, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Recommend process improvements for efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align financial plans with business strategy by working with sales, marketing, and operations teams. Support department heads in meeting budget targets.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Deliver ad-hoc financial reports and analysis to assist senior management in decision-making on projects and market trends.
Risk Management: Assess financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
Process Improvement: Implement best practices in financial modeling and reporting to streamline planning and reporting
Qualifications
CA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
At least 4-8 years of work experience.
