B1/ B2 AMEs (A320 - any/all 4 engine types), A330, A350
Responsibilities
• Allocate work to mechanics and supervise for compliance within defined timelines and as per prescribed quality control, airworthiness, and safety procedures.
• Ensure the maintenance staff are physically and mentally fit to undertake desired work and are not under the influence of any psychoactive substances.
• Perform inspections and checks on aircraft as per approved maintenance program. Assist in maintenance procedures and quality system and certification of callouts, for issuance.
• Record, investigate, analyze, and rectify defects observed during maintenance process, including those reported by the flight crew. Else, defer them as per procedures under MEL/CDL, prior to release of aircraft for flight.
• Report major defects, accidents, and incidents in prescribed formats/ forms.
• Ensure usage and installation of only approved spare parts and genuine materials on the aircraft.
• Ensure availability and usage of calibrated tools, tested equipment, and current technical publications prior to beginning any maintenance work.
• Carry out and certify Airworthiness Directives (AD’s) and mandatory modifications.
• Ensure timely completion and certification of all task cards, work sheets, inspection schedules, maintenance records and logbooks.
• Certify flight safety for public transport aircraft in the technical log/flight report.
• Certify flight release in respect of aircraft, and engine systems, endorsed in the license in the respective category.
• Certify aircraft for test flight/ ferry flight.
• Certify logbooks with details of inspection work done under maintenance schedule, minor repairs and modifications approved by the DGCA, replacement of components, parts and inspection thereof in respect of aircraft, engine, and systems.
Qualifications
• Candidate must possess a Diploma / DGCA Approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course / Aeronautical engineering.
• DGCA / EASA certified B1 / B2 Engineer endorsed on any of the commercial aircrafts
• Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year aircraft certifying experience
• Candidate must mandatorily possess currency on the type of aircraft for which he/she is endorsed
• Candidates holding dual Aircraft type license holders will be preferred.
Skills Required
• Candidate must be technically sound and possess deep understanding of CAR-145 organization
• Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
